Yarraville Oval, Victoria

Two goals by the home team  Yarraville Seddon Eagles just before half-time alleviated some of the scoreboard pressure wrought by reigning premiers Werribee Districts in the second quarter of their  Western Football League Round 2 Division 1 game. (‘Western’ as in western suburbs of Melbourne.)

It’s a fair bet that Yarraville Oval is one  of the few, if not the only, sporting grounds in the universe that is right next door to a mouth organ band that’s been going since 1933.
