There can’t be too many scoreboards that include a picture of The Blues Brothers. But you’ll find one at the home of the Cootamundra Blues, in the hub of the South West Slopes region of New South Wales.

Big thank you to Tony Merritt, who took these pics amidst watching his son Andrew. “I don’t have any information about the scoreboard history, I was just there as a proud dad watching his son play footy!”

Tony noted that Cooma, the visiting team on a hiding to nothing is “a heck of a long way from Cootamundra!”.

Final margin, by the way, was 156 points.
