These pics were taken at the end of a junior cricket game one Saturday morning.

Shaw Oval is part of Queen’s Park, which is also home to an 18 hole public golf course, another oval (watch this space), and walking/cycling paths along the Barwon River.

 

Years ago Queen’s Park hosted Highland Gatherings, featuring caber tossing. Maybe it still does!
