North Shore Bombers played the UNSW-ES Bulldogs in the 2015 Sydney AFL Under 19s Grand Final at Henson Park, Marrickville.

Henson Park is the old home ground of the Newtown Rugby League Club, and is now a popular venue for local footy Sydney AFL matches.

Jet airliners fly  over the Henson Park scoreboard all day long: very entertaining, and sometimes they  just miss the ground’s giant light towers!

This Singapore Airlines flight came over early in the 2nd quarter of the Grand Final…a good omen for the Bombers, who went on to take out the Flag: 7.15 (59) to 7.4 (46).
