The fifth Test between Australia and South Africa at the MCG in February 1931 was effectively a two-day Test.
On the first day South Africa was bowled out for 36 in 90 minutes. Then Australia was all out for 153 by the end of the first day.
Rain washed out the second day and fell for most of the rest day on Sunday.
Come Monday the South Africans were bowled out for 45. Game over.
A sticky wicket via hot sun following rain found both teams ill-equipped.
Now that is a good story and nice photo of the scoreboard!
