Footy started in Hallett in the late 1890s and the name lives on through Burra Booborowie Hallett FC in the North Eastern Football League.

Hallett was part of the NEFC from 1946 to 1969 winning four consecutive premierships from 1948-51. There was a merger with Booborowie in 1970 and BBH came about in 1986.

While it’s now just a one goal post ground Hallett’s proud history is still clearly on display.
