Was this once a scoreboard? Or the timekeepers’ box? Or both? Neither?
Romsey was the fourth and final visit of the mid-week mid-July father-son scoreboard road trip that included Broadford, Kilmore and Lancefield, all clubs in the Riddell league, just north of Melbourne.
Romsey have won 25 senior flags since 1891. Last year the A grade netball team won the flag as well as the senior footy team.
This year the Redbacks are travelling very well once again.
Scoreboard Pressure wrote to the club about the old wooden buildings near the tennis and netball courts, but we never heard back. More important things on their minds, no doubt – like winning back-to-back Redback flags.
