Moulamein play in the Golden Rivers Football League that straddles the Victoria-New South Wales border. In 2012 the Swans’ seniors finished 8th in the nine-team comp, just ahead of Quambatook. The club was especially strong in the late 1950s when it played in the Edward River Football Association.
The Tigers, as they were known then, were a chance for back-to-back flags in the mid-1950s until the 1956 season was abandoned due to floods. Moulamein won the flag in 1957 and then in 1961 and, as the Swans, in 1988.
