Welcome to The Holy Boot’s Holiday Snaps, taken by John Carr during a family trip to Sydney in the September holidays.

First stop is St. Patrick’s College in Sale, Victoria. No numbers on the scoreboard but no matter – we just love the name. Is (or was) Brother Majella a coaching legend, a scoreboard attendant, a Latin master? All three? Did he pull on the boots years and years ago for St Patrick’s?

Over the coming months The Holy Boot’s Holiday Snaps will take us to Bateman’s Bay, Bowral, Mittagong, Euroa, and Wangaratta.
