I was alerted to the quaint scoreboard at Glenelg by John from Safety Bay who was watching the live streaming of the SA vs WA Sheffield Shield game on redbacks.com.au

The game turned out to be a classic with WA needing 20 runs from the last two overs to pull off an outright victory – they didn’t quite make it.
It’s remarkable that the game got to such a position. The home team made 469 in their first innings and WA replied with 633 – Adam Voges scored 249 and Michael Klinger 151.
A second innings collapse by SA made a WA win seem a formality but a wonderful little innings by Adam Zampa left WA with a chase of 75 in 8 overs – with none of the 20/20 fielding restrictions.

Ashton Agar took 10 wickets for the game and made 64 in WA’s first innings and was named man of the match.
And for scoreboard enthusiasts Glenelg is special – there are two – the footy scoreboard was in action for this cricket game too.
