The Southerners represent the pretty town of Pemberton in the Lower South West Football League.

The big news for the Southerners in 2015 has been the amazing 300 league game milestone reached by Matt Gillard. The team is going pretty well too with only one defeat at the mid way part of the season.

The oval is prominently placed in the town and the outlook is interesting too with plenty of trees and Pemberton Mill just over the road.

We were pleased to see the scoreboard attendant had left up the score from the last home game, a nine-point win over Imperials from Manjimup in round six.
