Bendigo is getting big and if you head north the last suburb you get to before you hit the wide open road is Huntly.

The Huntly Hawks have been part of the Heathcote District Football League since 1986 and the oval is the preferred venue for HDFL grand finals. The Hawks have so far not won a HDFL premiership.

We know that St Kilda chief operating officer Ameet Bains is a former Huntly junior – we’d love to know more about the club.
