Our newly-appointed Northern Territory correspondents are pictured at TIO Stadium (Marrara Oval) in Darwin, after the thrilling NTFL Grand Final last weekend between the Wanderers and St Marys.

The ABC reported:

An injury plagued St Mary’s Saints have staged a miracle victory in the NTFL grand final, narrowly beating reigning premiers Wanderers Eagles 50 to 48.

The club, entering the final as narrow favourites, struck bad luck early in the game with Kieren Parnell and Anthony Long lost to injury in the opening minutes of the game.

A fantastic game. Wanderers had 5 Motlops playing, St Mary’s had a Rioli plus a Rioli coaching plus Aaron Davey playing.

Our correspondents were last seen at Scoreboard Pressure at last weekend’s Tiwi Islands Grand Final on Bathurst Island. Quite a different type of scoreboard on the islands.
