It wasn’t a find of the same archaeological significance at Bullaring but it was still a surprise. I’d come to the oval at Applecross Primary School by mistake – I should’ve been at nearby Ardross PS.
But there it was – a classic footy scoreboard – a rare find. I don’t recall seeing another at a primary school in WA but I’m sure they exist.
Now we want to see a photo of the Applecross PS board with a score on it and we’d love to know of other primary schools that still have original scoreboards.
