The Greenvale scoreboard was designed to accommodate a video screen 10,240mm wide by 4,480mm high, with a viewing area of 45.88 square metres. It was delivered and installed in two stages, a year apart.
The Greenvale Jets were formed in 1990 and play in the Essendon & District Football League. EDFL A Grade/Premier Division flags – 2004, 2007, 2012-13.
The security door is a large garage-style door which rolls around the side and sits at the back of the structure when the screen is in use.
The Greenvale Kangaroos formed in 2013, a merger between the suburban Greenvale club and the 150 year old District club North Melbourne (former home, Arden St Oval).
Graeme Smith designed and implemented the Greenvale scoreboard. Graeme is the founder of the newly-formed Australian Scoreboard Association.
