These images are from The Illustrated History of Test Cricket, The First Century (1977, published by Marshall Cavendish), from a 1912 Test at Old Trafford between Australia and South Africa:
The Triangular Tournament of 1912 has gone done (sic) in cricket history as a major disaster, but no one had a more disastrous seasaon on the playing side than the South Africans, who lost all three Tests to england and the firfst two to Australia. They were still passing through a recession after the decline of the googly bowlers, and the Australians outplayed them in the first Test at Old Trafford, winning by an innings…(page 46)
