Dalkeith Oval sits high in the leafiest of Perth’s leafy western suburbs and was once the home of one the greatest WA footballers – 1976 Brownlow Medal winner Graham Moss. The great ruckman was a champion at Essendon and Claremont the club he led to the 1981 WAFL premiership.
There was a thriller at Dalkeith in round one of the WAAFL competition when home team Collegians and Fremantle CBC met in a colts game. The visitors won by a point.

On hand to take a snap of the scoreboard was May Huang who is one of the people responsible for helping Freo CBC players Michael (Zimbabwe), Jonathan (DR Congo), John (South Sudan) and Ali (Afghanistan) turn their love for Australian rules footy into playing for a real club.
Good stuff! The Freo CBC All-Abilities team will be playing in Williamstown, Victoria in the depths of winter against the Williamstown Seagulls All- Abilities team..
