Paisley Park is in Altona, an industrial suburb of Melbourne’s west that is home to several soccer/football clubs. Altona Magic and Altona East Phoenix are neighbouring clubs at Paisley Park.

Altona Magic’s website tells us that the club colours of red and black signify the famous Macedonian Football Club, FK Vardar Skopje. Since the formation of the football club in 1968 the Macedonian Community and Ethnic Macedonian media continue to call the club “the Vardar Football Club”.
