VFA – and WAFL – scoreboards were some of the first scoreboards to feature when we started this humble project more than a decade ago. Indeed, a genesis of the project was a chap landing a gig as scoreboard attendant at Williamstown back in 2008 and thinking ‘These old tin sheds/castles/relics are fast disappearing…’
So it’s high time we collated a collection. It’s not exactly comprehensive – a lot of Victorian Football Association clubs (and their scoreboards) have come and gone since the late 1800s – but we’ll see how we go, even if we only barely scrape the surface…
